Cody Putnam (Daniel's old college buddy) and his wife, Liisia, went on a trip and had a loooonnnngg layover at LAX on the 28th, the same day that Julie and the boys left. Daniel left in the morning to go get them from the airport so they could come hang out with us for that time. It was a pretty busy morning, that. Mary and her boyfriend, Austin, who were coming down to go to Disneyland with Julie's family, surprised us that morning by making a stop at our house on the way down! Ours was like a bus station, people coming, people going. It was all very exciting! Julie, Scott and the boys, Mary and Austin, and then Cody and Liisia, all hanging out with us before church.
Cody and Liisia came to church with us, and everyone else left while we were still there. So when we got home from church, the house was so quiet. And rather neater and cleaner than when we left that morning.
We made a late lunch/early dinner for Cody and Liisia, just a little vegan deliciousness, like how we do it. It was fun to visit with them. Daniel took them back to the airport in the late afternoon, and I put our hooligans to bed.
