- We strive for the ideal. We strive for the ideal family life: father, mother, children, living together in love and peace, learning and teaching the gospel together, loving and serving the Lord. This is the ideal, and we strive for the ideal, even though we know some families do not enjoy this ideal and honoring and respecting them. We strive for the ideal in health: healthy, fit bodies, able to do what one wants. We strive for this ideal, while recognizing that we have weaknesses and are not perfect; we work towards ideal health, while honoring and respecting and loving our bodies as they are.
