Big Changes

Daniel's been interviewing for jobs for months. He started looking for a new job back in May, and has been applying and interviewing for lots of different jobs in the last 9 months. He expected that we'd be gone back in Fall, and, of course, we're still here.

Well, last Tuesday, he flew to Utah and interviewed for 3 jobs right in Lehi all that same day. And then flew back home that night. It was a crazy day for him. He was either flying, on phone calls for work, driving, or interviewing. He was running around like crazy that day!

It was quite a week last week, just in anticipating the possibilities. Daniel hasn't been working as much this week, naturally, because he's been preparing for interviews and all of that. And also, I think he is just feeling very done with Grant Thornton and busy season. The kids and I did our normal stuff I think. Brooke was out of school on Monday, and we just hung out here and had friends over. We did our errands on Wednesday, FHE on Monday night without Dad, preschool here on Thursday morning (we just did worksheets and painting as our activity, and then I read them some stories at the very end). On Friday, we had a bunch of kids over because Brooke wanted to have a "party" -- we had Lucy, Daisey and Lillee, and Violet over. It was pretty crazy. But I think the girls had fun.

And in the meantime, Daniel got offers from all 3 of those jobs in Utah. Which meant we had/have some serious decisions to make. We've decided to move to Utah for one of those jobs, as opposed to staying here with Grant Thornton. But Daniel still needs to decide which job -- by tomorrow.

So ... it looks like we're moving to Utah. And my feelings are so mixed up right now. I have many thoughts on the subject, and I've been doing a lot of praying about it. I even tried to fast about it today, but I only made it halfway through the day because I got sick yesterday, and it's hit me kind of hard today. I wanted to get fluids in me after I came home from church.

I also made a Pros/Cons list about a possible move to Utah. Here's what I think:
  1. There are many benefits to moving to Utah, and the Lehi area -- closer to family, Daniel's family and Brian and Sammy; we get out of California culture and politics, which is sometimes hard to live in; it's actually quite beautiful in Utah, and greener than here; it has seasons; the cost of living is significantly less; we could get a bigger house (eventually) easier than we could here; BYU; the fun Utah things we used to love, Zuppas, etc.; temples closer by; Thanksgiving point right down the street; safer, possibly, better schools, less liberal
  2. There are some downsides to living in Utah -- snow and cold weather; no beach close by, and no pool in our community (maybe?); it'll be hard to transition and make friends (at least for me); Utah culture (although Daniel says this is bogus...);
  3. There a number of cool benefits, solely to do with Daniel's new job, whichever one he decides to take -- slightly better pay; he doesn't have to work over time nearly to this degree; he would be able to hang out with us on Saturdays; he'd be able to walk or ride a bike into work, possibly, depending on where we live; basically no commute; he'd be less stressed at work
  4. Here are the reasons I'd be sad to leave -- I have a good group of girls here; I actually love Santa Clarita, it's just a step removed from LA, but close enough that you can go do cool things; I love having access to the beach; Brooke and Camille would have a solid group of LDS friends here; we like Brooke's school and teacher; we like being able to play outside all year long;

Valentine's Day

It's been a weird couple of weeks, with one thing and another. The week before Dress Tour and Mom's visit was taken up with baking cookies, getting the house cleaned up and ready for people to come, and it was exhausting. And this last week, we had people in and out of the house again and again it seemed.

I spent Tuesday watching Olive in the morning, cleaning up the house again, doing laundry, and making sugar cookies all day. I boxed a bunch of the cookies up with tubs of frosting and sprinkles to send with Julie for her family and Diane's family. I wanted to send all my sisters cookies (since I sent some to Mary), but decided I wanted to do cookie decorating kits for Julie and Diane's families, since I knew the boys would love that. It was fun making the cookies and getting them all wrapped up and ready (even though I ate far too many cookies and dough in the process). And I'm glad that I could send them with Julie instead of having to pay a million dollars in shipping.

Julie and her boys (and Mark, of course ... I include him in "the boys") got to our house super late on Tuesday night, around midnight, I think it was, and Daniel and I were already in bed sleeping. I was so so tired. We had set up some bedding for them in the loft and couch before going to bed, so when they got here, they all just got ready for bed and went to sleep. It was pretty perfect.

The girls and Makai woke up first the next morning. I think they were super excited to see each other. Brooke wanted to see them the night they got in, but I knew she'd be asleep before they got here. They didn't stay long Wednesday morning, though. Basically, they got up, got ready and packed, folded up the blankets and such, and left. I offered to make them breakfast, but they even declined that. We didn't really get a chance to visit, which sucked.

But, that's okay, because after doing breakfast and getting ready, we drove out to Ventura to pick mom up from Aunt Liz and Uncle Bob's house. It rained that whole day, basically, which was fun. And I let Brooke miss school that day so that she could be with her cousins and Gramma. We got mom, did a little errand, and drove back to Santa Clarita, stopping at Chic-Fil-A for lunch on the way home. Mom felt bad that she made us drive all the way out to Uncle Bob's house to pick her up, so she bought us lunch. And the kids loved playing on the indoor play place.

The rest of that day was taken up with naps, the girls watching tv with Gramma, and me doing my shopping trip (which I'd intended to do on Tuesday, but never got around to it). Mom and I made some keto dinner that she loves, and it was really good. Mom has me about convinced to do keto with her. She's been so successful and has such amazing things to say about it.

Before Brooke went to bed, we put her Valentines together so that she could take them to her friends at school. We'd already melted down the crayons into big heart crayons, so we just printed off some labels that said, "I melt for you Valentine! Happy Valentine's Day, from Brooke", stuck them to a small gift bag, and sealed a crayon heart inside each bag. They turned out SO CUTE!

Wednesday night, mom and I put on "When Calls the Heart" while I got the house all ready for Valentine's day. I'd bought a bunch of fun and cheap decorations at the dollar store, so when the kids were in bed, I decked the house ALL OUT. I wanted it to be super mushy and crazy, and I think I achieved that. I don't think I got a picture of it, but it was crazy! Heart cutouts on the walls, hearts hanging from the ceiling, a Vday banner across one window, the beautiful flowers that mom bought me on the table, confetti sprinkling the table, and balloons. I'd made the girls a batch each of play dough, dyed Valentine's Day colors (pink and purple), and I filled boxes for each of the kids with Vday candy. I also wrapped Daniel's present: matching shirts for both of us, saying "I love my awesome husband/wife". It was perfect.

The next morning, I got up early to make special pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream for all my valentines. We got Brooke off to school (though it was like pulling teeth -- she dawdled endlessly and complained about having to go to school; she wanted to stay for all the Valentines fun we weren't having), I got Camille and I ready and Camille off to preschool (20 minutes late, it was a morning), and then Jack and I took mom to the Flyaway when she was ready to go. Her flight left early in the afternoon on Vday. Jack slept in the car on the way there and back, which I was grateful for. His naps have been irregular for a couple of weeks, it seems.

I picked up Camille (late) and then we took some pretty flowers to the sisters I minister to for Valentines Day. We hung out together when we got home, Brooke came home, they played together, Brooke took some Valentines to neighborhood friends, and I made dinner. Oh, and in the midst of all this craziness, Daniel also had an interview with Princess Cruises. It was really some day. And the whole week was kind of like that.

Anyway, we had chicken tetrazinni for dinner with salad, heart shaped jicama, sourdough toast and bubbly. The kids loved it. And then after putting Jack to bed, we decorated sugar cookies for dessert. It was a nice Valentine's Day.

The rest of the week was laid back. I was so tired from all of our recent activity. Brooke didn't have school on Friday, and we just hung out, cleaned up the house and watched tv. Then I went to bed early and got up super early to go to the temple. I wanted to go to the 530am session so that I could be back really early so Daniel could work (he didn't get as much work done as he should've last week, due to dentist appointments and interviews, etc.); but I think that was a mistake. I really struggled to stay awake in the session, and felt like I was in a mental fog the whole time. I kept debating with myself if it was better to go to the temple and not really be there mentally, or to just not go at all. I suppose it's always better to just go, but I really didn't feel like I got much out of it.

Saturday night, we got a babysitter for Jack (who just slept the whole night), and Daniel and I took the girls to a King's game. His work gave us tickets for the game that weren't being used, and we had a great time! The girls liked the game, and loved the snacks there; Brooke got pretty into the game and kept asking me questions about it and about what was happening. We stayed for the whole game, though we weren't planning to; the Kings lost badly, but we had a really fun time.

Sundays are always nice, but kind of busy for me these days, with choir practice in the morning, playing the organ every other Sunday, I played for the Spanish Branch Sacrament meeting yesterday after church, and then song practice in the evenings. We also do a Sunday lesson in the morning before church, and a Scripture lesson in the evening after dinner. It's busy, but it also feels like a spiritual feast, which is lovely!

The Dress Tour

Man, this week was a busy one! But boy, oh, boy has this weekend been fun! Mom is here, mainly to work on getting Grampa's house cleaned up so they can wrap up his estate. But on Friday, the kids and I drove out to Woodland Hills to pick her up. We had dental appointments that afternoon after Brooke got home from school for the whole family. All 5 of us trooped into this new dental office for appointments, and we all took turns going back. They did quick appointments with the kids; they took xrays of Brooke's mouth, but not the littlers. And Jack only let them look in his mouth for about 10 seconds. But they gave each of the kids a little monkey backpack with stuff in it, and they let them pick out a special toy. Daniel and I also got little "welcome to our office" gifts. We were impressed with this office, with how quick they were getting us back, with how patient and kind they were with us, and with how accommodating they were for us. Daniel went back with Brooke and said that he got to see her xrays, and that they could see all these adult teeth making their way up her gums. That's so cool, I want to see that!

Anyway, after we had our appointments, we went to pick mom up in Woodland Hills. She's really struggling with this estate situation, and apparently, she came out to help clean up and get things going, and Uncle Gary is just being so awful and rude to her, being uncooperative, cutting her out of decision-making. And it sounds like Uncle Bob isn't being much better; I mean, he isn't mean to mom like Uncle Gary is, but he's not taking her ideas, he's not letting her make decisions, etc. I'm so frustrated for her, and this whole thing just has her in knots, and it's hard for me to see. I can't wait til it's all resolved and done so that mom can move on and relax.

So, she was planning on working on Saturday, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it and asked us to come get her for the weekend. The traffic was awful on the way back up, so we stopped for food and drinks that we could all eat in the car as we made our way home. The traffic had started super early that Friday; it was bumper to bumper at 3:30 in the afternoon, and it took us an hour and a half to get back home.

We put the kids to bed when we got home, and then mom and I went shopping for some things for her to eat on her diet.

It was a bad eating weekend for me. I couldn't keep away from the chocolate chip cookies and dough I'd made for the kids and Daniel, which is ridiculous. And once I have a taste, it's hard for me to get back to a place of saying "no".

Saturday morning, I got up early to go help clean the church. I haven't done it once since we moved here, I've been feeling like I should just do it. It's such an easy way to serve. So, I went Saturday morning, and I'm hoping to do another Saturday this month. Our ward is responsible for helping clean the building every other month, and my goal is to do at least 2 Saturdays of that month. I apparently was doing too thorough a job at vacuuming, though, because everyone else was ready to go home before I was halfway done. I know better for next time. It's more like spot vacuuming.

We were kind of lazy for the rest of Saturday. The kids watched some cartoons, because they didn't get to watch tv on Friday, and I took a miniature nap. Gramma helped Brooke climb the tree we have out in the back. It was so cute to watch them. Brooke was doing pretty well climbing, but then she got stuck somewhere and Gramma would walk over and help walk Brooke through the steps she needed to take to go where she wanted. We played sleeping queens with Gramma; I bathed the kids and made a simple dinner and got ready before Mom and I went on our fun date.

We started by going to Stonefire Grill for dinner, and getting some really yummy salads and chicken. Then we drove out to Pasadena for LeAnn Barlow's Dress Tour. I was SO excited to go, because I followed along for the whole monthly dress series on her blog and on instagram, and I just loved what she created. Mom was excited, too, because she's a seamstress; but she found a lot to be desired with LeAnn's execution and sewing skills. She kept saying that LeAnn is not a seamstress; she's a designer and creator, but doesn't really know how to sew. I could see a lot of what was wrong with the dresses, but I still think it's amazing what she was able to do, and I want to be able to create beautiful things like that. We saw Inga there; she went with a friend. And I saw one of Daniel's old co-workers from KKAJ, Diane Riveros -- she's friends with LeAnn, which was kind of fun. Anyway, we walked around, took pictures, and then talked to LeAnn at the end. It was so amazing to meet her! She's so beautiful and she was so kind and gracious, and I was such a dorky fan-girl. I was all starstruck, meeting her (enter embarrassed face emoji).

It was such a fun night, and I'm glad mom and I could do that together.

Our Sunday was busy with choir practice, Sunday Home Lessons, church, me playing the organ (butchering the organ, is more like), playing games with Gramma, taking miniature naps, Daniel making dinner, having our Scripture lesson in the evening, and me going to song practice.

Before I left for song practice in the evening, though, Brooke was hanging with me and mom while I was talking to mom about chatbooks and creating her own books, and Brooke was really wiggling, twisting, turning her little loose tooth. Mom checked her tooth once and said it wasn't ready. But Brooke kept working it, and Mom checked again 10 minutes later and tried to yank it out. Poor Brooke, her mouth started bleeding a ton, and it looked like it really hurt her and she cried for a bit. She rinsed out her mouth, and then kept working on her tooth, and after a little bit, she just pulled it out of her mouth. She was like, "MOM!" and held her hand out to me, and there was her little tooth! She was SO EXCITED. It was so cute.

When I came home from song practice, she came downstairs and asked me to go up to bed with her. She showed me that she'd put her tooth under her pillow, and she was so excited to have the tooth fairy come. Which, she did. And she left Brooke 4 quarters in exchange for her little tooth.

Today was a weird day for us. I started by going to the dentist for my teeth cleaning and laser treatment, while Mom watched the littles and got ready to go. When I got back, we drove Mom out to Woodland Hills. She dreaded going back the whole time we were driving out. Poor thing. Camille picked some lemons and oranges from Uncle Gary's trees, and we drove back home. Jack went down for a nap, and Camille and I had lunch and hung out, we read, and then Brooke came home. We read some more from books Brooke brought from school, we played the Mickey game, Jack woke up, I started trying to get things done, we had dinner and FHE. But I got almost nothing on my list done. It's fine, it was just weird. But then, I guess this week will be weird as it is, with Julie's family coming for a night, and Mom coming back for a day, and then Valentines Day. I'll get back to my routine next week.

89

Man, it feels like the past week has been busy! I'm not sure exactly what happened, but it seems once February hit, I was running around like crazy. It rained through most of the weekend, starting on Thursday, which was a nice change. Camille had her preschool group on Thursday at Lillee Mapp's house, and they did some of the cutest things, mostly valentine themed, but also centered around the letter 'B'. She's been loving her preschool group. I think it makes her feel like a big girl, and kind of special because she has her own "school". It's really cute.

Last month, at the beginning of the month, I decided that we would try to memorize a scripture a month this year. Last year in the Friend magazine, each issue focused on one scripture from the Book of Mormon, and they called it "Book of Mormon Reading Club". I didn't discover it until December, when I was going through all the Friends and pulling out stuff I wanted to keep. And I thought it was so cool, that they focused on one scripture a month. Well, they aren't doing that this year ... at least, not to my current knowledge. But I decided we'd do it anyway, even if we are a little late. So, for January, we memorized 2 Nephi 25:26: "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies; that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." Brooke learned it through first. She had it down so good! I kind of learned it somewhere along the way after Brooke, and helped Camille to get it. And she did! I was a little surprised, and very proud. She didn't have it perfect; she always skipped the "we preach of Christ" part. But I still counted it, because 1) she's 4; and 2) it was good enough to get the message. I was so proud of my girls, and to celebrate, and as a kind of reward, we all went on a family date to Chic-Fil-A for chicken and fries and to play on the indoor playground (our original plan was to go to the duck pond and feed the ducks, but it was raining pretty hard all day long on Saturday and we didn't want to put it off).

This month we are memorizing my favorite scripture, the one that I've always called my "Christmas scripture", because it gives me the same feelings I get in December when we focus so much on Christ: Moroni 7:41: "And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold, I tell you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of His resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal; and this because of your faith in Him according to the promise." It's a bit longer than the last one, and it doesn't have so many obvious actions to go along with the words. But I think we can do it.

Daniel and I went on a little date Saturday night. We had Nora come babysit last minute and we went to dinner at Chop Stop and then to do a little window shopping in the mall. We had a good time. It was nice to spend a little time together. That's been rare in the last month.

Sunday was nice. It rained most of the day, and it was fast Sunday. I felt very close to the Spirit on Sunday, probably due mainly to fasting. But I noticed that most of it came through the music I was involved in on Sunday: choir pieces, primary songs the kids are learning, the music I listened to while I made dinner. It was lovely. Music can be so powerful in bringing the Spirit into our lives! I also went to a first song practice for a musical number I'm doing with friends at the end of the month. And this time, I'm actually singing, not playing! It's a nice change.

This week has been a little crazy, partly because I'm just fed up with the state of my house. It's been like a year and a half since I did that big purge when I got rid of a ton of stuff, and the house is starting to feel all cluttery and disorganized again. The girls' room and the loft are by far the worst of it, but Jack's closet was really bad, and the loft closet needs a little straightening out. Basically, every room in the house is due for reorganization and deep cleaning. So for the last few days, I've been going through different rooms in the house, cleaning them up, organizing the closets, moving the furniture and vacuuming. I even had the girls help me by cleaning the mirrors and windows in their and Jack's rooms. I did Jack's room a couple of days ago, the girls' room yesterday and the loft today. Get the worst of it out of the way, and I feel so much better already. I also did a good cleanup of the laundry room, which needed it badly. The afternoons and evening have been taken up with getting the house cleaned up. Jack's room took the longest, because I was also switching out his clothes into a bigger size, and I had to go through some piles of clothes that had been just thrown into the closet. It's nice to have these rooms at the very least done.

On the day that I did Jack's room (Tuesday, I think?), it was super crazy. It took me, like, 2 hours, and while I was working, the kids were running amuck in the house, doing who even knows what. By the time I emerged and looked around, the rest of the house was a wreck. Jack's room and the kids bathroom were clean. But the girls' room was a disaster -- toys, clothes, dressups, coloring things, trash, trash, trash all over. The Loft was a disaster -- see girls' room. My room wasn't a disaster, but it's gotten a little cluttery. Downstairs was a disaster -- dishes everywhere on the counters, on the table, box of playdough out and playdough strewn about the table and floor, dozens of pairs of shoes out, laundry piled up in the laundry room. It was pretty bad. I sent Daniel a Snapchat of it, taking him on a little tour of the house, just to show him how CRAZY it was.

Monday, I did a little family home evening lesson with the girls and Jack. Daniel was working late, but we had it anyway. I taught them the primary song "Faith", because lately, we've been having lessons about planting the seed in our hearts and growing faith and testimony. It seemed fitting, and they seemed to enjoy learning a new song. FHE and scripture study has been a little difficult lately, though, in that the girls don't seem to want to sit down and listen as well as they did a few months ago. They are very rambunctious a lot of the time, and often they choose to be so on different days than each other; so if Camille is having a hard time sitting and listening, then Brooke will be sitting still and listening really well, and vice versa. But, I just plow ahead regardless, and hope that someday these things I'm teaching them will take hold.

Monday is trash day here for us, and of course, every Monday we get up just in time to see the garbage trucks come to collect our trash. Jack loves it, and now, it's tradition. Usually they come pretty early in the morning, right about the time we are waking up. So I rush into Jack's room, and he's usually awake already, because he heard it coming. And we open the shades and watch out his window. Or if we are already downstairs, we'll rush out to the street and watch it for a while. Well, this last Monday, it was raining, so we just opened the garage door and stood in the garage to watch. The guy who comes to get our recycling is different all the time, and it's sometimes a woman, even. But the guy who picks up our trash is the same guy every week, and he's a really nice guy. He waves and smiles to me and Jack when he comes. This Monday, like I say, we were watching from the garage because it was quite wet out. And after our trash man had gotten our trash can, he opened his window and slipped out a couple of Waste Management coloring books for Camille and Jack (though we gave Jack's to Brooke because he doesn't really color yet). It was so sweet.

Camille has had this funny fixation on the age 89 years old. It's the age she always says whenever she wants to indicate that she's older, or grownup. Like, "So, when I'm 89, can I (insert some kind of grownup activity here)?" "When I'm 89, can I have my ears pierced? Can I have a purse?" It's so funny. So, last night, at the dinner table, Brooke was asking (AGAIN) about when she can watch Jurassic Park. She was making all kinds of plans for a fun and special movie night to watch Jurassic Park when she turns 11 or 12 (I'm interested to see if she still has the same interest in the movie by the time she gets there). And the Camille says, "When I'm 89 years old, can I watch Jurassic Park?" And I told her that when she's 89 years old, she can do whatever she wants. We got into a discussion about how an 89-year-old woman is a really old lady, and at that point, she can do whatever. And I told the girls that on the day I turn 89, I'm going to eat chocolate chip cookies all day long; which morphed into a pizza and Choc chip cookie eating day; which morphed into a huge family party with all the kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, in which we would only eat pizza and choc chip cookies, chat, let the kids play, maybe watch a movie. Sounds like my 89th birthday party is gonna be one helluva shindig. Can't Wait!!

I went to volunteer in Brooke's classroom on Tuesday. They were celebrating Chinese New Year that day, so they were doing Chinese crafts and I helped them at the end of the morning with a little Chinese snack: sticky rice and chow mein noodles (from Panda Express). They loved it! It was a fun day to be there. Camille and Jack went to the Erdmanns to play while I did that, and they gave Jack a big fire engine, about the size of his garbage truck, on our way out the door. Actually, he really just walked out the door with it, and Hillary said it was fine, that they were getting rid of it anyway. But he's thrilled to have another big truck to play with.

Aside from our usual shopping and errands yesterday, Camille, Jack and I got some organization products (plastic bins and big baskets) to help us in our cleaning quest. We also stopped at Children's Orchard to get some pjs for Jack. I realized after I switched his clothes out that he had basically no jammies in 18 month size. And, they had a whole bunch of books there, too, and so, we came away with quite a haul. After our errands (which they were so good for), we took lunch over to Brooke's school to have lunch with Brooke. It's bring your family to school week, and they've had activities all week that involved the parents and family members. I thought it would be fun and that Brooke would be glad we came; but she didn't seem as excited as I'd anticipated, and it was quite uncomfortable for me, with so many parents that I didn't know. We were a little late, and Brooke had already mooched some pizza from one of her friends' families, and even though they said it was fine, they didn't say a word to me after that. It was very uncomfortable; I feel like the other moms TOTALLY judge each other and everyone. It didn't help that Brooke has been doing her own hair for a couple of weeks, which I think is so cute and charming, but her hair does end up looking a little unkempt a lot of the time -- pigtails with most of the back of the hair out, and super-messy ponytails. I love it; but I'm sure we get judged a lot.

Camille helped me make cookies yesterday. I came up with this brilliant idea that I'd make chocolate chip cookies for Mary and send them to her. I don't know how it'll work out, but I thought it might help her feel that we love her and are thinking of her. I hope so. I also wanted to send little cookie decorating kits to Julie and Diane for Valentine's day; but shipping is crazy. So, Julie and her boys will be here next week to stay a night with us after they do Disneyland, which means I can actually send the cookies home with her!!! It worked out so great. But, anyway, Camille and I had a great time in the kitchen making cookies and dinner together.

Mom is here this week. I mean, not here-here, like in my house. But she flew into LA on Sunday, she's staying at Uncle Bob's house and spending the week trying to get going on cleaning up Grampa's house. It hasn't been a great week for her, though, because A) Grampa's house is super overwhelming to clean up; B) my Uncle Gary is being an A** and yelling at her and being so rude to her, etc. -- she told me she's in hell; and C) she and Aunt Liz actually got sick a couple of days ago, so she hasn't been able to do much work. Poor mom. I feel so bad that she has to go through this. It's been so hard for her. But I'm hoping they can get this thing over and done with this year (like she wants to -- it's her big goal for this year) so that we can all move on. She'll be here this weekend with us. She and I have an awesome date on Saturday that I'm so excited about.

I'm exhausted from this week's work. I feel like I haven't had one minute to sit down and do nothing. It's okay, I like having busy weeks; it beats the boredom for a time. But I'm super tired.

One last tidbit: When Camille was tinkering around on the piano yesterday, she stumbled upon a 3rd interval. She must've liked the sound of that, because she turned to me and said, "Mommy, these ones rhyme!"
